CompuClaim is now Relay

Our new name reflects that school-based Medicaid is more than just claiming. It’s an entire workflow from service documentation to requirements tracking, to claim lifecycle management to ensuring program security and visibility. We wanted a name that captured the many handoffs along the special services journey.

Read the FAQs below.

What does this name change mean for me? Although the name is changing, your workflow, portal, and Client Success team members all remain the same.

While the name “CompuClaim” has served us and our districts well over the years, Documenting student services and ensuring compliant Medicaid claims has continued to evolve and become more complex. Our new name was a decision made to reflect that school-based Medicaid is more than just claiming. It’s an entire workflow from service documentation to requirements tracking, to claim lifecycle management to ensuring program security and visibility. We wanted a name that captured that workflow.

Is my portal or URL changing?

No. Your portal, URL, logins, and all bookmarks will still work, and your workflow will not be interrupted at all. However, you may see the new logo when logging in! You may notice the url change, but all old urls and bookmarks will still work.

Why the name change?

Great Question! Our team recently went through an assessment of our brand to make sure it resonates with customers and encapsulated our values, products, and services for years to come. From this, we realized throughout our 27 years of working with districts, that School-Based Medicaid programs are a team effort with a series of handoffs across the student services journey. Our team sought out a name that captured the holistic approach from when a child is first identified for service through service documentation and claiming. From Providers, to District Medicaid Teams, to various data systems used to ensure compliant claiming—each step requires precision and trust – like a Relay race!

What does this mean for my current contract?

Relay will still be doing business under CompuClaim for the foreseeable future. Therefore, all contracts are still relevant and legally binding.

Do I need to update my POS?

Currently, you do not need to update anything. If you would like a new logo, the landing page has an opportunity for you to download one.

Does the state know?

Relay will still be doing business as CompuClaim, LLC, so there will be no hold up with submitting or claiming. The state will be notified of the name change this fall and you do not need to do anything at this time. We will keep you updated about any changes along the way.

How do I explain this to the schools and providers in my district?

Our solutions and service remain the same, but if needed, we have provided sample letters to send to providers and schools. Please feel free to either print the letters or copy and paste into an email to make any personalization changes appropriate to the communication.

Have you been acquired?

No, our leadership team remains the same and the changes are purely just branding updates to reflect our future vision.

Will we be invoiced as Relay or CompuClaim?

We are currently in the process of updating business entities and states. Relay will still be doing business as CompuClaim, LLC, so for the time being, you will still be invoiced as CompuClaim. We will let your financial contacts know when they should expect to see Relay on invoices.
