Eligibility & Billing in Florida

Eligibility defined as children enrolled in Medicaid under the age of 21 who have an IEP or IFSP. Florida also has expanded Medicaid eligibility for students who require medically necessary therapy services in the school setting. The billing providers for school-based health services can be community-based providers, county health departments and public health departments, or school districts, charter schools and lab schools. Rendering providers do not need to separately enroll in Medicaid.
