New Hampshire defines eligibility as all Medicaid-eligible (or enrolled) children under 21 covered for medically necessary services in public schools. Students must have an IEP, 504 plan, or Healthcare plan. The billing providers are the Local Education Agencies (LEAs) or School Administrative Unites (SAUs). All employed school professionals who render the covered Medicaid service need to be enrolled in Medicaid and linked to the school enrollment as a non-billing provider (including PTs, OTs, APRNs, and MDs).
