Medicaid-eligible children ages 3 to 21 are covered for medically necessary services provided pursuant to an IEP. The billing providers are the Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and charter schools. Providers with a current DOPL license AND an active NPI must enroll. Individuals without an active NPI do not need to enroll at this time. Individuals who only have certification do not need to enroll at this time.
