Florida’s Certified School Match program covers Medicaid-eligible students under age 21 who meet IDEA/disability requirements and have Medicaid-reimbursable services included in their IEP or FSP. Services must be medically necessary, recommended by qualified school district or contracted staff, and meet Medicaid coverage requirements. Community Medicaid providers and county/public health agencies may bill Medicaid directly, or an enrolled school district may bill for services delivered by qualified employed or contracted staff. Charter and lab schools may participate through their school district, while rendering staff must meet applicable Medicaid credentialing and provider qualification requirements.
